How does the purchasing process work?

When you locate a template you desire to purchase, simply click the orange "download now" button. You will then be directed to an add to cart payment page. Proceed to purchase by either paying directly from your PayPal account, or through Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club or JCB. After your transaction is processed successfully, you will then be directed to a "purchase successful page".

You will receive two emails - one will be a receipt for purchase, followed by an email to download a zipped file of your template, immediately after making the purchase. After clicking the link, your download will begin. Locate the zipped file after the download is complete, and open by double-clicking the file. You will then have access to your artwork and can begin customizing the template to suit your design needs!

How long will I have to download my templates after purchasing them?
After successfully purchasing your templates, your link to download the artwork is valid for 30 days. After the 30 day deadline, your link will expire.

Is my file corrupt?
If for some reason the file you downloaded seems to be damaged or corrupted please try downloading it again, this will often fix your problem. You have up to 30 days try again, up to 10 tries per day. If it still looks damaged please contact info@diydesigntemplates.com, and we will assist you the best way we can.

How do I know the files are compatible with my computer?
All of the DIY Design Templates have been in Microsoft Word (.doc) and Adobe InDesign (.Indd, .Idml) format. Please ensure you have the correct operating system and version of the software prior to purchase, as our templates are not refundable unless corrupt or damaged.

Why are the fonts not included within my template?
When purchasing your template, each product page will indicate that fonts are not available within your download. We generally use standard system fonts such as Times New Roman, Century Gothic, Arial, Helvetica and Century. Font software is not included, and must be purchased through other websites which sell fonts or font packages for your convenience.

I have an older version of Word, why does my template look different than the sample?
Many of the current features of MS Word are not compatible with old versions of MS Word. Some of these changes are graphic and image effects, text effects, color contrast, reflection of text/graphics to name a few. Please ensure you have the most current version of the MS Word software to ensure your template looks like the template sample.

Are the templates easy to edit myself?
If you are familiar with using Microsoft Word, our templates will be a breeze for you to customize to suit your design needs! Most templates allow you to edit all blocks of color, fonts, swap out images, crop and re-size graphics and replace sample text with your own headers, taglines and body copy.

What is your return policy?
Our templates are conveniently available for digital download. Unfortunately, our templates are not refundable, exchangeable or returnable, since they are available for immediate download. If you feel that your files may be corrupt, please email info@diydesigntemplates.com, we will be happy to assist you.
